-----Michael Dean is a standing member of the USISTD
( U.S. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), one of the oldest and most prestigious dance societies in the world, based in London, England.

Membership candidates are required to complete thorough training from the USISTD board followed by a rigorous dance, technique and theory
examination process by the national USISTD examination committee
for each level of certification.

-----Michael currently trains under Mrs. Miriam Ellis - Fellow & Examiner with the USISTD and holds diplomas in the Ballroom and Latin branches:

- International Ballroom Branch (Associate)

- International Latin American Branch (Associate & Licentiate)

Michael's membership with the USISTD also qualifies his students to participate in the ISTD Medal Examination System. Please click on the info links to discover more information on how the Medal System works.
